Our client is a top 10 firm of chartered accountants with a strong presence in the region and a national, and international reach. They have a reputation for excellence, a positive culture, and have experienced significant growth over the past few years. They prioritize their staff's well-being and offer a flexible working environment.

About the Role

As a Private Client Tax Director, you will be responsible for delivering personal tax and advisory services to a diverse client base, including directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, wealthy individuals, and private clients. You will be supported by a medium-sized, experienced tax team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the provision of advisory services across a wide range of personal tax issues, including IHT, CGT, trusts, and estates.
  • Lead and influence your team to drive the development of the private client tax services.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, bringing in new business to bolster the firm's private client offering.
  • Play a lead role in the growth and development of the firm's private client offering.

Requirements:

  • ATT and CTA, ACA, ACCA, or STEP qualified
  • Previous experience operating at a senior level within Private Client Tax
  • Proven experience in client handling, with a high level of client relationship management
  • Proven tax experience in producing high-quality work on complex UK private client matters, within budget
  • Tax experience from a practice background, preferably within a top 100/large independent firm
