About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional or an outstanding senior ready to step into a leadership role within a small but thriving and independently owned firm of accountants.

The firm represents a full cycle of clients based across various regions, and as a Client Director, you will provide a pivotal link between the firm's leadership and the accounting and tax-based staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team and your own portfolio of clients
  • Be responsible for onboarding new clients, business development, and post-review meetings
  • Prepare annual statutory accounts, corporation, partnership, and personal tax returns
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns
  • Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers
  • Onboard new clients and assist partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation work as required

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years of experience within practice
  • Hands-on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax, and VAT
  • Strong business development and client relations skills
