Position Overview:

The Strategic Account Executive is tasked with developing and executing strategies for key regional accounts that are vital for both strategic positioning and revenue generation. This role emphasizes a select group of high-value accounts, focusing on business development while maintaining a sales quota tied to these accounts.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leading the strategic direction for major accounts, ensuring alignment of sales and relationship management efforts
  • Analyzing client business strategies to identify and leverage sales opportunities
  • Building and nurturing executive-level relationships with clients
  • Overseeing account management to enhance customer satisfaction and drive growth
  • Accountable for achieving sales targets for designated strategic accounts
  • Expertise in sales methodologies and comprehensive account planning
  • Ensuring forecast accuracy and maintaining competitive insights
  • Managing expenses effectively while demonstrating product knowledge

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience in technology sales
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships with C-suite executives
  • Strong sales skills and a talent for relationship management
  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise-level challenges and technology procurement processes
  • Industry expertise coupled with advanced computer proficiency
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with the sales process and relevant terminology
