Team Managers play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of children in Cornwall. The Role:

We have openings for passionate, dedicated Team Managers throughout Cornwall in the following areas:

  • Family Assessment Service
  • Child Protection
  • Multi Agency Referral Unit (MARU)

This role involves public engagement, and candidates must meet the statutory English language requirement for public sector roles.

This position will require an enhanced criminal record disclosure check.

What you'll need to succeed:

We are looking for experienced social work managers with a proven record of effective management, as well as seasoned social workers ready to transition into a Team Manager position.

Applicants must be Registered Social Workers with Social Work England, possessing substantial experience in statutory social work with children and families. You should be able to demonstrate how you have applied your learning to practice and have a history of improving children's lives. Evidence of post-qualifying education in child and family social work, preferably at the Master's level or equivalent, is required. Significant experience in evidence-based practice with children and families is essential, along with the ability to effectively supervise and manage social workers and other practitioners.
