Job Summary:
Cooks Home Assistance Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Team Leader to join our team. As a Senior Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of services for children and young people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise service delivery, working with the High Level Playworker (HLP) to deliver high-quality, inclusive, and imaginative play services and support for children who use the setting.
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, regulatory frameworks, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Cook to plan and deliver healthy and nutritious meals that meet the children's dietary requirements.
- Assist in recruitment, facilitate staff training and ongoing professional development, supervision, and performance management.
- Support a team of HLPs, Playworkers, and Volunteers, providing guidance and direction to ensure the delivery of child-centered care within our policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for service users, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
- Implement robust policies, procedures, and practices to protect service users from harm, abuse, and neglect.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a children's services setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
