Team Managers play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of children in Cornwall. The Role:

We have openings for dedicated and passionate Team Managers across Cornwall in the following areas:

  • Family Assessment Service
  • Child Protection
  • Multi Agency Referral Unit (MARU)

This role involves public engagement, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers is applicable.

This position will require an enhanced criminal record disclosure check.

Qualifications for Success:

We seek experienced social work managers with a proven track record of effective management, as well as seasoned social workers ready to transition into a Team Manager role.

Applicants must be Registered Social Workers with Social Work England, possessing substantial experience in statutory social work with children and families. You should be able to demonstrate how you have applied your learning to practice and have a history of improving children's lives. Evidence of post-qualifying education in child and family social work, preferably at the Master's level or equivalent, is required. Significant experience in evidence-based practices with children and families, along with the capability to effectively supervise and manage social workers and other practitioners, is essential. You will collaborate with Advanced Practitioners within your teams to support practice, learning, and development.
