Interpath Advisory is seeking an experienced Financial Modelling Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Data & Technology group, you will play a crucial role in developing our financial modelling capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Support large and small projects to help clients tackle business issues.
- Apply technical skills to devise compelling and well-thought-out solutions to complex problems.
- Build constructive working relationships to develop internal and external networks.
- Provide high-quality and flexible modelling solutions for a diverse range of clients.
- Use existing and develop new modelling skills to support delivery, develop capabilities, and share knowledge on solutions and best practice techniques.
- Develop tactical solutions that automate finance and other operations.
- Develop data models to support modelling and analytics deliverables.
- Use visualisation and analytical software to drive insights from data to inform client decisions.
- Aptitude for managing projects, clients, and stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Exposure to scoping, designing, and building financial models.
- Strong communication skills to describe complex technical issues in a clear and non-technical way.
- Experience in supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships across a range of teams.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements in a controlled manner.
- A recognised finance or accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/CFA or similar).
- A first-class or upper second-class degree in a numerate subject.
- Experience in the Business Intelligence/Data Analytics space.
- University degree 2.1 or higher (or equivalent) in Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognised financial modelling course.
- Consulting experience.
- Data visualisation experience in Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau.
- Numerate & analytical with knowledge of data management.
