Role Overview: We are currently seeking an Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including a company vehicle and a guaranteed standby allowance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take charge of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across various operational sites.
  • Execute planned maintenance activities to ensure compliance with internal and external service standards.
  • Collaborate with a mobile field team and communicate effectively with all stakeholders impacted by maintenance work.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation to support operational functions.
  • Provide proactive support to internal customers, aligning with our core values of trust, responsibility, collaboration, and progress.
  • Plan and prioritize maintenance tasks to meet operational requirements efficiently.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Engage in ongoing training to enhance technical skills and health and safety awareness.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths, English, and Science at grade C or above.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship with relevant formal qualifications (City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC/HNC/HND).
  • Compliance with current IEE Regulations (18th Edition).
  • Experience in fault finding and working with 3 Phase electrical systems.
  • A valid UK driving license is essential.

Desirable Skills:
  • City & Guilds Inspect and Test certification.
  • Experience in industrial or commercial electrical environments.
  • Familiarity with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), soft starters, and motor control systems.
  • Understanding of wiring diagrams and low voltage systems.
  • Experience with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
