Facilities Maintenance Specialist

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and versatile maintenance professional to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide efficient maintenance services, including planned preventative maintenance, repairs, alterations, testing, and installations of engineering services, equipment, and fixtures.
- Work on a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment and services across various areas within the Trust's estate.
- Contribute to the development of the service, ensuring that the Trust's vision and values are maintained at all times, focusing on engineering excellence, integrity, and support for the wider team.
- Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, including Legionella, Electrical Safety Policy, Asbestos, and Permit to Work Policies and Procedures.
- Experience in Air Handling Units, commercial heating systems, and pipework.
- Multi-skilled, electrically biased engineer with a strong background in maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts and out-of-hours emergency faults.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
