Position Overview: We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary along with a guaranteed standby allowance and additional compensation for call-outs and overtime. You will also receive a company vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance across various operational sites for both drinking water and wastewater services.
  • Execute planned maintenance activities on operational assets to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with a mobile field team and communicate effectively with all staff involved in maintenance activities.
  • Maintain and update site engineering documentation to support operational functions.
  • Provide proactive support to internal customers, aligning with our core values of trust, responsibility, collaboration, and progress.
  • Plan and prioritize maintenance tasks to meet operational requirements.
  • Adhere to current health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Engage in ongoing training to enhance technical skills and health and safety awareness.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths, English, and Science at grade C or above.
  • Completion of a time-served apprenticeship with relevant formal qualifications (City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC/HNC/HND).
  • Compliance with current IEE Regulations (18th Edition).
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Desirable qualifications include City & Guilds Inspect and Test, industrial/commercial experience, and familiarity with VSDs and motor control systems.
