Key Responsibilities:- Define and Implement GRC Policies: Develop and implement Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) policies, frameworks, and guidelines across the organization.
- Establish Clear Roles and Responsibilities: Establish clear roles and responsibilities for GRC stakeholders, including the board of directors, CEO, CRO, and business unit managers.
- Ensure Alignment with Business Objectives: Ensure alignment of GRC with business objectives and strategies.
- Identify, Assess, and Prioritize Risks: Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization.
- Develop and Implement Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Monitor and Report on Risk Exposure: Monitor and report on risk exposure and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with industry and government regulations, standards, and laws.
- Develop and Maintain Compliance Programs: Develop and maintain compliance programs and procedures.
- Conduct Compliance Training: Conduct compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager with expertise in Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) to lead on structuring, governance design, carrying out risk assessments, 3rd party diligence, and recommending the appropriate risk strategies to the board to mitigate risks. This is a pivotal role for a rapidly scaling and dynamic organization where you will be critical in fortifying risk management capabilities and ensuring compliance with new and existing regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- Expertise in GRC, ideally within capital markets with knowledge of the Crypto / Digital Asset sector.
- Background in running risk assessments and working with Senior Leadership to report effectiveness of Risk Measures, recommend strategies to mitigate Risk, and training of staff.
- Proven knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FCA, AMF, BMA, MICA, DORA, GDPR, and security governance.
- Ability to engage across all layers of a business both domestically and internationally.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and apply project management methodology.
