Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all facets of event organization and execution for internal gatherings.
• Maintain a superior level of customer service throughout the event planning journey, ensuring that all events are executed to the highest standards, which includes site visits, menu tastings, BEO preparation, coordination with the reservations team, AV needs, and more.
• Assist the team in achieving sales targets by employing effective sales strategies, including in-person sales meetings, site tours, and innovative sales approaches.
• Help with contract issuance and booking entries in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with the Planning team to create and print event materials.
• Conduct competitor site inspections and support familiarization trips as needed.
• Engage in research and telemarketing to generate new event bookings when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a similar hotel or events setting (essential).
• Familiarity with reactive sales and/or event planning processes (desirable).
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience with Opera and Salesforce systems (desirable).
