Our Cheltenham office is seeking to enhance our finance team by welcoming a Financial Operations Associate. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative environment, where your input will be appreciated, and your career development will be nurtured.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and overseeing invoices and purchase ledger transactions
- Ensuring all invoices are correctly coded and approved
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Preparing payment runs
- Addressing supplier inquiries and resolving any discrepancies
- Assisting with month-end closing activities
- Maintaining precise and current financial records
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an accounts payable position or managing invoicing and purchase ledger
- Candidates who are currently pursuing or have completed AAT are strongly encouraged to apply
- Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
