Job Description

Clover HR Services Limited is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations, develop financial statements, analyze financial data, and prepare financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Thorough and detailed bookkeeping, including the creation and maintenance of management accounts, provision of financial advice and support to aid business decisions, and monitoring of day-to-day financial operations.
  • Financial Operations: Facilitation of day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, cash flow, and adherence to organizational budgets, monitoring of accounts, and ongoing monitoring of budgets.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparation of financial reports (MI reporting) on a monthly and annual basis for year-end audit, review of financial reports with the MD and CEO, and taking action as necessary.
  • Financial Policies and Procedures: Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures, seeking out methods and practices to minimize financial risk.
  • Employee Benefits: Salary preparation and review, liaison with payroll and pension providers, management of employee pension payments, and key contact for HMRC taxation matters.
  • Financial Analysis: Responsible for timely and accurate purchase and ledger analysis, variance analysis, management of accruals and prepayments.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Financial Expertise: Expertise in financial statements preparation.
  • Accounting and Finance Experience: Experience in accounting and finance.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Proficient in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Independence and Remote Work: Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Financial Software and Systems: Experience with financial software and systems.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, and relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA).
