Chapman Tate Associates is looking for a motivated and proactive Education Account Manager for a prominent Managed Service Provider (MSP) that excels in providing innovative IT solutions tailored for educational institutions.


About the Role:


In the role of Education Account Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering and expanding partnerships within the educational landscape.

Your main responsibility will be to oversee existing client accounts, comprehend their requirements, and propose customized IT solutions that facilitate their development and success.

You will serve as the primary liaison, ensuring client satisfaction while identifying avenues for upselling and cross-selling a diverse array of IT services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Cultivate and sustain robust, long-lasting relationships with educational organizations, acting as their trusted consultant for all IT-related inquiries.
  • Client Growth: Recognize and pursue opportunities to enhance accounts by introducing new solutions and services that align with the client's goals.
  • Solution Selling: Provide a comprehensive range of IT solutions, including IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Cloud Services, Disaster Recovery (DR), Managed Back-Up, Hardware, and Networking.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to formulate IT strategies that support their educational objectives, ensuring they remain at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • Client Support: Deliver exceptional support to clients, addressing issues swiftly and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with technical teams and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and successful implementation of solutions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience in account management, particularly within the education sector.
  • Strong knowledge of IT services, including IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Cloud, DR, Managed Back-Up, Hardware, and Networking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build and nurture relationships at all levels.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to provide innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and a commitment to staying informed about industry trends.
