Chapman Tate Associates is looking for a proactive and motivated Education Account Manager for a prominent Managed Service Provider (MSP) that focuses on delivering innovative IT solutions to educational organizations.


About the Role:


In the role of Education Account Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering and enhancing partnerships within the educational landscape.

Your main responsibility will be to oversee current accounts, comprehend their requirements, and provide customized IT solutions that facilitate their development and success.

You will serve as the primary liaison, ensuring client satisfaction while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling a diverse array of IT services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Cultivate and sustain robust, long-lasting relationships with educational institutions, serving as their trusted advisor for all IT-related inquiries.
  • Client Growth: Recognize and explore opportunities to expand accounts by presenting new solutions and services that align with the client's goals.
  • Solution Selling: Provide a comprehensive range of IT solutions, including IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Cloud Services, Disaster Recovery (DR), Managed Back-Up, Hardware, and Networking.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to formulate IT strategies that advance their educational objectives, ensuring they remain at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • Client Support: Deliver exceptional support to clients, promptly addressing issues and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with technical teams and other departments to provide seamless service and guarantee the successful implementation of solutions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience in account management, particularly within the education sector.
  • Strong knowledge of IT services, including IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Cloud, DR, Managed Back-Up, Hardware, and Networking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Ability to think strategically and propose innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and a commitment to staying informed about industry trends.
