Position: Safety and Compliance Supervisor

Location: Nationwide (with travel requirements)

Compensation: Up to £55,000 (Based on experience) + performance bonus + vehicle allowance + additional benefits

Are you a seasoned Safety and Compliance Supervisor seeking a new opportunity within a dynamic organization operating throughout the UK and Europe?

You're in the right place. We are searching for a dedicated team player with outstanding communication abilities to oversee and manage Health and Safety protocols on active construction sites. A background in construction and familiarity with CDM 2015 regulations is crucial for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all pertinent health and safety regulations, including the CDM 2015.
  • Create and maintain essential project documentation, such as Construction Phase Plans, emergency procedures, and fire risk assessments.
  • Coordinate contractor activities through work permits and on-site discussions.
  • Advise clients on health and safety issues, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Lead by example to enhance safety culture on-site, recognizing and rewarding positive safety behaviors through recognition programs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the site.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents thoroughly.
  • Assist in the acquisition of new projects.
  • Oversee and support HSE initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective operations.
  • Provide assistance to internal business functions and processes.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety Management role within a live construction environment.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Strong understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate qualification.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home (UK & Europe), including varied shift patterns and 12-hour shifts.
  • Self-motivated and driven individual.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing time effectively and providing direction.
  • Proficient in IT skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels, engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Calm, patient, and composed under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing demands and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SMSTS Certification.
  • NEBOSH Construction qualification.
  • First Aid Certification.
