Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Safety Officer to join our team at Service Care Solutions - Construction. As a Health Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in meeting compliance with all statutory and legislative Health and Safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Managing Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Accident Monitoring and Investigations: Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Site Visits and Audits: Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Delivery of Health and Safety Training: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of Health and Safety procedures and protocols.
  • Document Control: Maintain accurate records of Health and Safety documents and ensure they are up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate, NCRQ or NVQ Level 3
  • Experience: Considerable experience working in Health and Safety, preferably in a Highways setting
  • Skills: Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, leadership skills, and ability to manage and monitor performance
