Location: National (with travel required)
Compensation: Up to £55,000 (based on experience) + performance bonus + vehicle allowance + additional benefits
Are you a seasoned Safety and Compliance Supervisor seeking a new opportunity within a dynamic organization operating throughout the UK and Europe?
If so, you are in the right place. We are looking for a dedicated team player with outstanding communication abilities to oversee and manage Health and Safety protocols on active construction sites. Prior experience in construction and familiarity with CDM 2015 regulations are crucial for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all pertinent health and safety regulations, including CDM 2015.
- Create and maintain essential project documentation, such as Construction Phase Plans, emergency procedures, and fire risk assessments.
- Coordinate contractor activities through work permits and on-site meetings.
- Advise clients on health and safety issues, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
- Actively influence the safety culture on-site by leading by example and recognizing positive safety practices through reward programs.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the site.
- Investigate incidents and accidents thoroughly.
- Assist in securing new projects.
- Oversee and manage HSE support functions.
- Provide assistance to fellow team members.
- Support internal business processes and functions.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in a Health & Safety Management role on active construction sites.
- Valid driving license.
- Working knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
- NEBOSH General Certificate holder.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home (UK & Europe), including varied shift patterns and 12-hour shifts.
- Motivated and driven individual.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage time effectively and provide direction.
- Proficient in IT (Microsoft Office).
- Effective communicator across all levels, engaging and approachable.
- Calm, patient, and composed under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- Able to adapt quickly to changing demands and requirements.
Desirable Qualifications:
- SMSTS trained.
- NEBOSH Construction qualification.
- First Aid certification.
What We Offer:
- Permanent full-time position with a competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
