About the Role
The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and organized Administration Apprentice to join our team. As an Administration Apprentice, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of our office operations, providing administrative support to our teams and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and confidential online filing systems and data input for all records generated within the Trust.
- Organize and book meetings, create agendas, and support the distribution of meeting papers under the supervision of the Administration team.
- Undertake scanning, photocopying, shredding, and general office duties to support the smooth running of the ambulance service.
- Work with the County Business Manager to identify and develop your own learning needs, participate in and support personal development.

Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with a successful acceptance onto a Level 2 or Level 3 administration apprenticeship standard with an approved provider. You should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, be enthusiastic and motivated, and have the ability to organize and use your own initiative. You should also have good interpersonal skills, be able to work as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to the core values and beliefs of an employee of the NHS.
