Finance Business Partner

Location: Hybrid Working Model

Compensation: £60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus

The Consultancy Group is collaborating with a prestigious Global Facilities Management and Hospitality organization in search of a high-caliber Finance Business Partner. This esteemed company is known for its exceptional workplace culture, and you will be an integral part of a dynamic Finance team. Your role will involve close collaboration with Senior Leadership teams, providing significant visibility and influence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Development: Lead and nurture a team of three finance professionals.
  • Strategic Business Partnership: Engage with Senior Leaders and department heads to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Operational Collaboration: Partner with the Head of Operations and Fulfilment Centre leadership to analyze performance metrics, present findings, and implement strategies for enhanced outcomes.
  • Month-End Oversight: Guarantee the precise and timely completion of month-end activities, including purchase order and invoice processing, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Performance Analysis: Communicate monthly performance metrics and variance analysis in accordance with operational KPIs. Facilitate monthly review discussions, focusing on potential risks and opportunities.
  • Financial Forecasting: Assume responsibility for monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Cost Management: Collaborate with Logistics and Customer Service teams to enhance cost efficiency, expedite processes, and assist with ad hoc financial analyses and projects.
  • Cross-Departmental Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with various teams, including Brand Management and Accounts Payable.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to refine financial processes and reporting, enhancing speed, accuracy, and overall quality.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Background: Fully qualified in Accounting or Finance with relevant industry experience.
  • Proactive Mindset: A self-motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to interpret diverse data formats.
  • Effective Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deadline Management: Capable of meeting deadlines, juggling multiple priorities, and applying a structured, logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion, and Qlik systems is advantageous.
