Finance Business Partner

Location: London - Liverpool, Hybrid Working, 3 days a week on site

Compensation: £60,000 - £70,000, plus bonus

The Consultancy Group is collaborating with a renowned Global Facilities Management and Hospitality organization in search of a dynamic Finance Business Partner. This esteemed brand is recognized for its exceptional work culture, and you will be part of a high-achieving Finance team. In this role, you will engage with Senior Leadership teams regularly, gaining significant visibility within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee and nurture a team of three professionals.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with Senior Leaders and department heads.
  • Operational Collaboration: Partner with the Head of Operations and Fulfilment Centre leadership to analyze metrics, present findings, and implement strategies for enhanced outcomes.
  • Month-End Management: Ensure the precise and timely execution of month-end activities, including purchase order and invoice management, postings, accurate accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Performance Analysis: Communicate monthly performance and variance analysis aligned with operational KPIs. Lead monthly review discussions, addressing potential risks and opportunities.
  • Financial Planning: Take charge of monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term planning processes.
  • Cost Efficiency: Collaborate with Logistics and Customer Service teams to enhance cost efficiency, improve service speed, and assist with ad hoc analyses and project initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with various teams, including Brands and Accounts Payable.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements across financial processes and reporting to improve speed, accuracy, and quality.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Fully qualified in Accounting or Finance with relevant experience.
  • Proactive Mindset: A self-motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data in various formats.
  • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deadline Management: Capable of meeting deadlines, juggling multiple priorities, and applying a structured, logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion, and Qlik systems is advantageous.
