In this pivotal role, you will report directly to a highly skilled Head of Finance, taking charge of the daily operations of the finance team within your division. This position is integral to influencing the overall business strategy and facilitating ongoing transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring that our financial governance and procedures are effective, promoting excellence and efficiency throughout the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the daily financial activities, leading the finance team to ensure that financial governance and procedures are effective, thereby enhancing operational excellence across the business.
- Overseeing the preparation of budgets and forecasts for your division.
- Inspiring, motivating, and managing a talented finance team.
- Ensuring the accuracy of monthly management accounts and providing insights as part of the Senior Leadership Team for your division.
- Supporting the development of strategic initiatives.
- Leading the 5-year business planning process in collaboration with the Group Financial Planning team.
- Preparing Financial KPIs and scorecards.
- Assisting with statutory accounts and coordinating with external auditors.
- Facilitating the development of financial systems and new implementations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a finance team.
- A strong desire to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business's commercial operations and the ability to drive enhancements and add value.
This is a permanent, full-time position that offers excellent hybrid working flexibility, along with 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, in addition to other attractive company benefits.
