NonStop Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join their team in a small independent fostering agency based in the Cambridgeshire area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to foster families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee foster families and ensure the highest standards of care are being met.
- Provide support and advice for foster carers, promoting a therapeutic model and empowering them to deliver exceptional care.
- Manage a caseload of around 6 carers in the Cambridgeshire area, providing regular visits and maintaining open communication.
Requirements:
- Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to drive and provide support to foster carers and families as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in the fostering sector, with a strong understanding of the therapeutic model and its application in a fostering agency.
