Mental Health Social Worker

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join our team at Mbi Staffing. As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to adults with mental disorders and their carers in the London Borough of Hackney.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the needs of adults with mental disorders and their carers, using a person-centered approach and effectively managing risk.
  • Plan and deliver outcome-focused interventions to promote independence and social inclusion.
  • Act as a Care Coordinator within the framework of the Care Programme Approach, providing a social work service to mental health service users and carers in the community and in hospital settings.
  • Respond to the needs of adults with mental disorders and their carers in a timely manner, within the boundaries of statutory legislation and with regard to individual circumstances.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience working in mental health social work.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
