Job Title: Social Worker Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our team at SW Locums. As a Social Worker Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and meet with carers and families to provide support and guidance
  • Liaise with community services to secure transfer of care as required
  • Act as a link between inpatient services and receiving community teams
  • Discharge planning and coordination
  • Providing holistic social circumstances reports for tribunal
  • Management and supervision of junior staff
Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Degree in Social Work
  • Good knowledge of Mental Health Act 1983/2007
  • Knowledge of care management
  • Social Work England registration
Desirable Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years post-qualifying experience working with mental health
  • 5 years references
