About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Waking Night Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Felstead Street service in Hackney.

As a Waking Night Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing continuity of care and support to our residents with high-level mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and assistance to residents overnight who may be experiencing difficulties with their mental health.
  • Support residents with daily living activities, including practical assistance with personal care and domestic tasks.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and hygienic living environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Monitor residents' mental and physical wellbeing during the shift and communicate outcomes to the day shift and management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective handovers and maintain a secure environment.
About You

We are looking for an individual who is fundamentally calm and resilient, with a practical and logical mind and a natural ability to be well-organized.

You will be approachable, open, and respectful in your communication style, with a customer-focused approach and a can-do attitude.

Essential qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above, or equivalent experience in the social care/charity/mental health sector.
