About the Role

Mbi Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Social Worker to join our team. As a key member of our community care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health social work services to residents of the London Borough of Hackney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of adults with mental disorder and their carers in a timely manner, within the boundaries of statutory legislation, and with regard to individual circumstances.
  • Use a person-centered approach to assess need and effectively manage risk.
  • Plan and deliver outcome-focused interventions linked to promoting independence and social inclusion.
  • Act as a Care Coordinator within the framework of the Care Programme Approach, taking responsibility for the provision of a social work service to mental health services users and carers in the community and in Hospital.
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with experience in mental health social work.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
