About the Role

We are seeking two full-time temporary Specialist Support Workers to join our team at Maeslliedi Day Centre in Llanelli. The successful candidates will provide care and support to individuals aged 18+ with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs, and behaviours of concern.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals in a range of building-based services and in the community, taking part in therapeutic, fun, and educational activities.
  • Contribute to a caring and enabling environment that promotes the dignity and independence of the individuals we support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or complex needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic level of conversational Welsh (Level 2).
