Deputy Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to join our team at Kido. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our children and supporting the growth of our nursery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality education and care to children.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework and other relevant legislation.
  • Ensure the nursery is a safe and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve nursery performance.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children and staff.
Requirements
  • Relevant childcare qualification (level 3 minimum).
  • Experience in a nursery setting, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS Framework and other relevant legislation.
