Deputy Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to join our team at Kido. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our children and supporting the growth of our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality education and care to our children
  • Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework and other relevant legislation
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to our safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan and implement staffing schedules, holiday rotas, and other administrative tasks
  • Assess and record children's progress, using effective systems of observation and feedback
Requirements
  • Relevant childcare qualification, level 3 minimum
  • Experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or Deputy Manager in a nursery setting
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

  • Competitive salary of up to £34,000 for full-time, 40 hours per week
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 30 days after 5 years' service
