Aston Charles is seeking a seasoned Claims and Complaints Manager to lead our Liability Claims Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Liability Claims Handlers, each dealing with a varied caseload including predominantly Public and Employers' Liability losses.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of Liability Claims Handlers, providing training, development, and coaching to ensure they are equipped to handle complex claims.
- Allocate workloads, act as an escalation point for complaints, and conduct file/audit checks to ensure compliance.
- Handle your own caseload of higher value and complex claims, utilizing your expertise in Liability claims to drive results.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives, fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment.
- Expertise in Liability claims, with a strong understanding of Public and Employers' Liability losses.
- Proven managerial skills, with experience in training, development, and coaching.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly-evolving environment, with a willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
