About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at RSK Group. As a key member of our Geosciences team, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical projects and providing technical expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead geotechnical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including geotechnical analysis, design, and reporting.
  • Oversee ground investigations, contract administration, and specification preparation.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Chartered Engineer or Geologist status, or working towards it.
  • At least 10-15 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, including project management and leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of geology, ground investigation works, engineering geology, and geotechnical engineering principles.
