About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Moving and Handling Specialist in an adult social care setting in Glasgow. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy service to clients in adult social care settings.
  • Work with clients to identify and implement equipment, adaptations, and manual handling solutions to promote independence and safety.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for equipment and adaptations to support client mobility and independence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a valid professional license.
  • Experience working in adult social care settings, with a focus on moving and handling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care.
