About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Enable Scotland, a leading specialist provider of employability services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions to regain or enhance their ability to achieve well-paid, sustainable employment aligned to their vocational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct vocational assessments to identify individuals' skills, strengths, and aspirations
  • Develop and implement personalized employment plans to overcome barriers to work
  • Collaborate with job coaches, employment advisors, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive support
  • Provide practical and forward-thinking recommendations to explore adjustments and support for individuals with health conditions and disabilities
  • Utilize computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills to maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution
  • Experience working with people in a social work, community, primary care, or hospital context
  • Current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Understanding of relevant policy and legislation
