Position Overview

Clinical Therapeutic Consultant

Salary Range: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 annually

Role Summary

This is a unique opportunity to step into a newly established position within Embrace Care.

Are you a qualified Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse with expertise in Trauma-Informed Care?

Do you possess experience in assisting individuals with intricate needs, including self-harming tendencies and substance dependency?

Have you successfully implemented positive strategies aimed at minimizing challenging behaviors while enhancing quality of life?

The Clinical Therapeutic Consultant will become a vital member of Embrace's Therapeutic Team, responsible for executing our Trauma-Informed Model, which integrates Therapeutic Parenting, Positive Behavior Support, PERMA, Attachment Theory, and PACE.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing a network of care facilities.

Reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided.

You will receive guidance from a Psychotherapist to foster your professional development.

Additional Therapeutic Training will be offered to enhance your skills.

Qualifications Required:

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.

Current licensure or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Therapist, or equivalent credential.

Degree in Learning Disabilities or Mental Health Nursing.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical or therapeutic environment.

In-depth knowledge of therapeutic methodologies, practices, and tools.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including mental health and learning disabilities.

Clinical expertise in wound care, self-harm management, first aid, and medication administration.
