Opportunities available for working with adults or the elderly
Flexible full-time and part-time options available
**Relocation assistance of up to £8,000 is provided**
An exciting opportunity has emerged to join our well-established and supportive Primary Care Psychological Therapies Service. This role is based in Chester and can be offered at band 8a for qualified and experienced candidates, or as a band 7/8a preceptorship for newly qualified psychologists. We are particularly interested in candidates who wish to work with adults of working age or older individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments (including neuropsychological assessments when necessary), developing formulations, and providing therapeutic interventions in both individual and group formats for individuals facing complex psychological and mental health challenges. Additionally, the post holder will assist the broader team in enhancing psychological insights into clients' difficulties through consultation, supervision, and training.
The successful applicant will join a well-established and expanding team with defined job plans and ongoing opportunities for professional development throughout the service. Located near the historic city of Chester, the service collaborates closely with three local universities, providing ample opportunities to develop supervisory skills and support trainees with research projects and teaching programs.
