About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Lead to join our Child and Young Person's Mental Health Hub Team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will lead on reviewing referrals to our Cheshire Children and Young People's Mental Health Hub, triaging referrals for children and young people, and offering advice on appropriate support and signposting.

As a member of our Clinical team, you will contribute to consultations, helping support professionals working with families and young people, offering advice, guidance, and signposting.

You will form part of the Access function, focusing on prevention and early access to intervention as possible.

This role will entail high demand, but you will be joining a highly motivated team and supportive leadership structure.

Remote work will be necessary for a portion of your scheduled hours.

You must have computer skills, as all systems are electronic.

Flexible and hybrid working are encouraged.

Person SpecificationQualifications
  • Core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional)
  • Professional Registration with recognised National Body (HCPC, NMC, Social Work England)
  • Nationally recognised post-qualification, continuous professional development (CPD) related to the core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional)
Essential Criteria
  • Working knowledge of specialist therapeutic approaches e.g. CBT, Family Therapy
  • Knowledge of Child Protection workings and Practice
  • Working knowledge of Children related legislation
  • Experience of inter-agency working
  • Experience of writing, implementing and evaluating Care / Treatment Plans
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience of working with Students/Learners
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision
Experience
  • Significant post-qualification experience of working within CYPMHS or Child Mental Health related field
  • Recognised experience of working within an environment where evidence-based interventions have been delivered
  • Undertaking formal and informal Clinical Risk assessments
  • Undertaking Mental Health Assessments
  • Keyboard skills, including using databases, Microsoft Office, and clinical systems
