About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supporting the management of the ward and the wider unit.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult mental health, with experience of working with service users with severe mental health problems. You will be a registered nurse with a valid NMC registration and have a clear understanding of national policy and health/social care issues.

As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, role modelling clinical care to junior colleagues, and supporting the management of the ward and the wider unit. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our service users.

Person Specification
  • NMC Registered Nurse RMN or RGN.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional development.
  • Understanding and appreciation of national policy and health/social care issues.
  • Clear understanding of social inclusion/equality/diversity.
  • Knowledge of cultural diversity within the healthcare setting.
  • Aware of current mental health issues, debates and practice.
  • Knowledge and understanding of physical health needs.
  • A willingness to undertake further training.
