Position: Circuit Board Engineer

Location: Flexible working arrangements available. Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Utilizing technical expertise and engineering knowledge to create circuit board designs.
  • Interpreting, generating, and managing schematic diagrams.
  • Collaborating closely with both mechanical and electronic design teams.
  • Working with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production and testing.
  • Generating comprehensive manufacturing data packages.
  • Supporting design and peer review processes.
  • Managing component libraries.
  • Modifying and maintaining existing designs.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification, along with experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • PCB design methodologies for large, intricate, multi-layered boards (up to 24 layers, 2000+ components).
  • Designing for controlled impedance, high-speed digital, RF, mixed signal, high current, and large FPGA technologies.
  • Experience with blind, buried, and filled via techniques.
  • Proficiency in the Cadence design tool suite.
  • Ability to work with complex mechanical profiles to meet enclosure, structural, thermal, and shielding requirements.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard toolsets.
  • Experience adhering to ISO9001 and IPC-610 standards.
  • Knowledge of flexible PCB and interconnecting assemblies is desirable.

About the PCB Design Team: As a Circuit Board Engineer, you will play a vital role in a small team responsible for producing approximately 30 circuit board designs annually.
