IT Trainer Opportunity

Head Resourcing is seeking an experienced IT trainer to join a leading charity dedicated to preserving and promoting Scotland's natural and cultural heritage.

The charity's mission is to protect and share Scotland's unique landscapes, historic sites, and cultural treasures for future generations.

This is a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension, and offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000.

The IT Trainer will be responsible for ensuring that all users are proficient in using the new system, facilitating a smooth transition and maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of the new solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and analysis of job functions.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, both in-person and remotely for diverse audiences, including end-users, administrators, and technical staff.
  • Develop and update training materials, including manuals, guides, and video tutorials.
  • Customise training programs to meet the specific needs of the end users.
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up training as needed.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training program and make improvements as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software training.
  • Demonstratable proven experience in delivering training both face-to-face and remotely.
  • Strong experience in creating training materials, including videos.
  • Experience of working with contractors and 3rd party providers.
