We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist / Principal Scientist to join our team at Nicholas Associates in Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will have expertise in molecular dynamics and molecular modelling techniques, with a strong background in polymer science and computational chemistry.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing molecular modelling techniques to identify root causes of issues and recommend corrective action
  • Developing and implementing new materials for use in renewable energy, sustainability, and energy storage
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver results

Requirements:

  • PhD in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Computational Chemistry, or similar
  • Published research in top-ranked journals
  • Knowledge of polymer membrane synthesis and molecular dynamics simulations
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Desirable skills include:
