Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will oversee daily financial operations and management accounting for our UK division, reporting directly to the UK Financial Controller. Your primary duty will be to generate precise and timely monthly financial reports for the UK entity. You will provide insightful analysis and interpretation to enhance business value, ensuring that tasks are completed within deadlines in a dynamic and complex environment. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in implementing internal controls and governance while sharing your expertise in financial best practices with both finance and non-financial team members.

What You Will Do

In collaboration with the UK Financial Controller and the broader finance team, your tasks will include:

  • Assisting in the month-end closing process for the UK business, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Preparing variance analyses and reporting packages for UK commercial evaluations.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation each month.
  • Assisting with cash flow management and treasury reporting.
  • Supporting the annual audit by providing accurate information to the audit team and coordinating with the business to gather necessary audit evidence.
  • Collaborating with the UK finance team to standardize and enhance processes and the accounting control environment in alignment with Group standards.

Requirements

What You Will Need:

  • A recognized accounting qualification, ideally CIMA, or progress towards it.
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong analytical capabilities.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage ambiguity, and maintain a focus on continuous improvement, even in challenging situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience in an international, private-equity backed organization is advantageous.
