Pay Rate: £13.21 - £13.43 (inclusive rate)
Additional Pay: Enhanced rates for weekend shifts (Time & a half), Public Holidays (Double time), and Night Shifts (8pm - 10pm).
Work Schedule: Flexible hours based on a 4-weekly rota, incorporating both early and late shifts.

Essential Skills (These will be used as the selection criteria)

Ability to interpret information, such as service feedback, and direct it to the appropriate personnel for prompt and accurate resolution. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Capability to handle expressive behavior from individuals we support, responding sensitively to their families and caregivers. Confidence in establishing relationships with individuals from diverse cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. Enjoyment of teamwork and collaboration on shared tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

Basic literacy and numeracy skills for documenting activities in care plans. A foundational understanding of the needs and rights of the individuals we support. Proven experience working effectively as part of a team. Knowledge of Health and Safety practices, First Aid, Fire procedures, and Manual Handling - Desirable NVQ Level 2/Diploma in Care or equivalent qualification - Desirable Previous experience in a care environment, particularly with individuals who have disabilities or are vulnerable - Desirable Experience in facilitating group activities - Desirable
