Position: Supported Living Services Team Supervisor

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are in search of a Supported Living Services Team Supervisor to manage our well-established supported living programs.

As a Team Supervisor, you will provide essential support to adults recovering from mental health challenges, assisting them in their transition to independent living within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Empower Service Users to make informed choices, fostering their independence and social integration.
  • Facilitate team meetings alongside the Supported Living Manager.
  • Participate in keyworker meetings, advocating for the service users.
  • Communicate any staff-related concerns to the Manager that may affect service quality.
  • Document and report incidents, accidents, illnesses, and risks in accordance with established protocols.
  • Oversee sickness absence and manage annual leave requests.
  • Create staff schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and fulfilling care duties as needed.
  • Ensure the completion of daily plans, documentation, and weekly audits.
  • Manage medication ordering and auditing processes.
  • Conduct observational supervision.
  • Take notes for investigations as required.
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities to ensure the rights of adults to live safely and free from harm.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in managing or supervising staff within Adult Mental Health settings.
  • Possession of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or actively pursuing this qualification.
  • Training in Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, First Aid, and Moving and Handling.
  • A collaborative team player with strong leadership capabilities, able to inspire and guide others.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and respond swiftly to various situations.
  • Enthusiastic about personal development and generating innovative ideas.
