About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our Gas Product Testing team in Loughborough. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out test work on a range of gas products and fittings to ensure they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of gas products and fittings to identify any defects or areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects and provide expert advice on test results.
  • Develop and maintain test procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the calibration department to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Qualification to HNC/HND level in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Good level of computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working with gas-related products in a regulatory or certification setting.
  • Knowledge of Lean culture and tools, as well as ISO 17025.
