About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our Gas Product Testing team in Loughborough. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out test work on a range of gas products and fittings to ensure they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of gas products and fittings to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and premier customer service.
  • Write clear, accurate, and complete test reports, and provide recommendations for product improvement.
  • Collaborate with the calibration department to ensure the maintenance and use of correct equipment for testing.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the lab and office, and ensure all electronic data storage is up-to-date.
  • Report and escalate any issues that impact testing performance or quality of results.
Requirements
  • Qualification to HNC/HND level in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience in a test environment.
  • Good level of computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
