Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Outreach Worker to join our team at Wythenshawe Children's Centres as an Early Years Project Lead. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting our aim to make a positive difference and improve outcomes for children, young people, and families living in Wythenshawe.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-quality group and individual interventions for children pre-birth to age 5 and their parents, both universal and targeted.
  2. Work in partnership with Start Well partners and other services to ensure that children pre-birth to 5 years and their parents are signposted to the full range of services provided via Wythenshawe Children's Centres and within the community.
  3. Complete evidenced-based interventions, especially related to early years/child development.
Requirements
  1. Be educated to level three or above with a recognised professional qualification in social work, health, education, or equivalent.
  2. Have experience of working with children and families in clients' homes and/or community venues, in groups and/or 1:1.
  3. Have experience of completing evidenced-based interventions, especially related to early years/child development.
