Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse to join our specialist multi-disciplinary learning disability health team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to individuals with learning disabilities, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of service users.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to service users, carers, and other professionals on various health care needs related to learning disabilities.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement health promotion initiatives, aiming to reduce health inequalities and improve overall well-being.
- Participate in safeguarding vulnerable adults, ensuring the safety and protection of service users.
- Work autonomously, managing a caseload and delegating tasks to support staff, as agreed through supervision.
