About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse to join our specialist multi-disciplinary learning disability health team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to individuals with learning disabilities, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of service users.
  2. Provide expert advice and guidance to service users, carers, and other professionals on various health care needs related to learning disabilities.
  3. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement health promotion initiatives, reducing health inequalities and improving overall well-being.
  4. Participate in safeguarding vulnerable adults, ensuring the safety and protection of service users.
  5. Work autonomously, managing a caseload and delegating tasks to support staff, as agreed through supervision.
